Sometimes it’s difficult to leave your beloved dog at home while you enjoy human events. If only you could take your dog out with you everywhere.

Well, now they can join you at the cinema, at least.

Pop-up cinema Oscar & Rupert (you can guess the name of the founders) is coming to the basement of London Fields bar Wringer & Mangle this weekend, and it's specifically designed to bring your four-legged friend to.

It will screen My Dog Tulip, a nostalgic film about companionship between a man and a dog, on April 3.

And don't worry about bringing snacks for your pal, either. There'll be dog-friendly popcorn and ice cream on offer, along with a special service to take your dog out for toilet breaks so you don’t miss a thing.

It sounds like the perfect day out for those with a faithful companion, and better still its located just minutes from London Fields, which means you have plenty of green space on your doorstep for your dog to stretch their legs and wear themselves out before the film.

The screening of My Dog Tulip takes place on April 3 at 3.30pm. Tickets are £15, visit ticketarena.co.uk to book.
