Man with a History: Marr will be discussing his History of Modern Britain book and TV series
5 April 2012

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames may not be mentioned in the same breath as illustrious literary towns such as Oxford or Hay-on-Wye - but book-lovers should head towards TW9 for the remainder of November nonetheless.

The sixteenth Book Now Literature Festival runs until 27 November, and boasts appearances from stars such as David Starkey, Graham Swift, Blake Morrison, Esther Freud and Andrew Marr.

There are also children's events and poetry walks, a "Desert Island Books" evening, and the incomparable John Mortimer in conversation with Valerie Grove.
