Students around the country will be breathing a sigh of relief today as they finally find out their A-Level results.

Whether you're celebrating or commiserating, A-Level results day tends to involve drinking in one form or another.

Still, if necking back Jagerbombs until the early hours isn't your thing, there's plenty else to do in the capital to mark the end of your school days.

Below are the best of the bunch, listed in no particular order.

XOYO, Shoreditch

Jake Davis

If you happen to be going to university in London and haven't heard of XOYO yet, get to know the name as there's every chance you'll be paying weekly visits.

The iconic student club hosts Your Mum's House this Thursday, a night of hip-hop, R'n'B, grime, afro-beats and just about everything else in between.

Let the good vibes flow and if you're not in a mosh pit by midnight, you're not doing it right.

Tiger Tiger, Haymarket

If you're on the hunt for cheesy music and a night you likely won't remember, then head to Tiger Tiger in Haymarket.

Tonight, they're hosting an A-Level results UV rave party, which promises "live DJs, tons of glow sticks, UV cannons and the biggest confetti drop EVER."

What's not to love? You can book tickets in advance here.

Ballie Ballerson, Shoreditch

Ballie Ballerson

If you're not quite ready to let go of your childhood yet, how does jumping around in one million balls sound?

Expect cocktails inspired by retro sweets and ample photo opportunities.

Tonight, they're doing two-for-one cocktails all night long. You can book tickets here.

Electric Cinema, Shoreditch and Notting Hill

PA

If you fancy taking a more relaxed approach to the end of your A-Levels, why not cosy up with a film at Electric cinema?

Arm yourself with snacks and sit back in one of the cinema's luxurious armchairs or beds. Thursday's showings include Mamma Mia 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp and Mission: Impossible - Fallout.

The Roxy is a basement bar and club that's a classic with students.

Tonight is pop music all night long, so expect some club bangers as well as some throwback 80s hits.

Entry is free before 10pm or £3 thereafter for those with a student card.

Queen of Hoxton, Shoreditch

Karaoke just got cool – Queen of Hoxton is putting on hip-hop karaoke for aspiring Drakes and Kanyes to live out their fantasies.

Don't forget to capture the whole thing on film for some Instagram-worthy moments.

Tickets start at £5 and you can buy them here.

Camden Market

(PA )
PA

You can't celebrate on an empty stomach. There's food to satisfy every appetite at Camden Market, from Japanese-inspired crepes to vegan burgers.

If you still have the energy, afterwards you can do a pub crawl around Camden's many drinking hangouts.
