The Mayor of London's LONDON FILM DAY on Sunday 21 March is a major event for 2010 and will see the capital buzzing with activity to celebrate the magic of cinema. LONDON FILM DAY will feature the first ever simultaneous world public film premiere – of the new British family feature film NANNY MCPHEE AND THE BIG BANG - in 15 cinemas across London!

Created in partnership with the Mayor of London, Film London (the capital's film and media agency) and the BFI London Film Festival, and thanks to the support of Universal Pictures, LONDON FILM DAY will offer free kids workshops, and discounted tickets (£5 for adults and £1 for children) to the world public film premiere of NANNY MCPHEE AND THE BIG BANG which is directed by Susanna White and stars Emma Thompson, Maggie Smith, Rhys Ifans, Bill Bailey, Daniel Mays and Maggie Gyllenhaall.
