Following the announcement of a new X Factor judging panel including Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora, the new presenters of The Xtra Factor have been revealed.

With former hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs stepping up to replace Dermot O’Leary on The X Factor, the new presenters of the ITV2 sister-show will be Rochelle Humes, of The Saturdays and S Club Juniors fame, and Kiss FM DJ Melvin Odoom.

Rochelle says she is a long-time fan of the show, saying: "I have watched The Xtra Factor for years so I am beyond excited about joining such a brilliant team and getting to work with my old friend Melvin makes it even better. I also can’t wait to meet the contestants and be a part of their X Factor experience.”

Her new co-host Melvin Odoom said: “I’ve always been a massive fan of the show and to get to present The Xtra Factor is a dream for me. We are there to support the contestants and have fun – I’m really looking forward to it!”

The new series of The X Factor and The Xtra Factor is due to start this Autumn.
