A rare insight into the private lives of much-loved British icons, Eric Morecombe and Ernie Wise, this BBC Two show documents the duo during their lesser-known moments.

Told through the medium of the duo’s own home videos, viewers can witness never-before-seen moments of them on holiday, on tour and during their time working across the Atlantic in the US.

Contributors include Morecombe’s wife Joan and his three children as well as the close friends of Wise and wife Doreen.

Vic and Bob's Big Night Out

Directly after Eric & Ernie's Home Movies, comes a different kind of look at the genius that is 1990s comedic duo Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.

This one-off show is a revived version of the pair’s famous experimental show, featuring off-the-wall characters and celebrity guests, 26 years after it first launched.

Look out for the brilliant First Dates send-up, as well as a special cameo appearance by Matt Lucas.

BBC Two, 9pm

Frankie Boyle's 2017 New World Order

Whether you love him or hate him, there’s no doubt that Frankie Boyle has maintained his mantle as Britain’s most divisive comedian this year.

So who better to take a satirical swipe at the modern world of 2017 (in the absence of Charlie Brooker), which is just what the Scottish stand-up does in his 45-minute round-up.

Alongside a panel of guests, Boyle seethes and rants his way through some controversial topics of year.

BBC Two, 10pm
