A new Channel 4 documentary sees Sky News journalist Mark Austin and his daughter Maddy share their story of how anorexia affected their family and discover more about the mental illness.

Newsreader Mark Austin’s daughter Maddy suffered from anorexia as a teenager, with her parents at points fearing she might die due to her low weight.

In a one-off documentary, the she and her father explore the devastating impact the illness had on her and the family.

They speak to others who have been affected by the illness, including Prince William who opens up about his mother Prince Diana’s battle with bulimia.
