Top Boy aired what was assumed to be its final episode in September 2013, just two years after it first hit screens in 2011 but it is now gearing up for the ultimate comeback.

Here is everything you need to know about the new series:

Who will star in series three and what will happen?

Details on the upcoming series are limited, but what we do know is Ashley Walters is set to reprise his role as drug dealer Dushane and Kane ‘Kano’ Robinson will make his return as Sully.

The latest trailer shows the core characters battling similar demons as they run through the streets of a London estate, while others attempt to keep their heads down.

A female voiceover in the teaser can be heard declaring: “The olders are washed, the youngsters fear nothing.”

How is Drake involved in the show?

All Drake fans will remember the Canadian rapper tweeting about the show back when it was on TV.

According to the Mirror, the In My Feelings rapper was such a fan that he then purchased the rights to the drama after it was dropped by Channel 4.

At the time, Walters told the publication: “We met up to start talking about the show and we are working out a role for him. He loves acting, of course he wanted a part.

“He’s going to be really hands on and is getting stuck into it.”

Where can I watch?

The show previously had a home on Channel 4 but has now moved over to Netflix following Drake’s hand in the show.

You can catch-up on all eight episodes of series one and two on the streaming platform.
