So it’s decided. The X Factor Judges’ Houses are over and the categories are complete.

After last Sunday’s episode saw Simon Cowell pick his Girls and Saturday’s formed Robbie WilliamsGroups , just two categories remained unpicked.

During the final pre-recorded episode of the series, Louis Tomlinson – flanked by Nile Rodgers and Liam Payne – picked his four best Boys and Ayda Field – with Leona Lewis and Adam Lambert – finalised the Overs.

Here are the last two categories for The X Factor 2018 live shows…

The Boys – Louis Tomlinson

Brendan Murray

Brendan, who earned Tomlinson’s Golden X at Six Chair, performed Sinead O’Connor’s hit Nothing Compare 2 U to fight for his place in the lives.

Brendan stunned the room into total silence with his rendition, earning high praise from the assembled judging panel.

Armstrong Martins

Armstrong pitched up and immediately admitted he was taking a “gamble” with his song, performing the Friends theme tune otherwise known as I’ll Be There For You by The Rembrandts.

Dalton Andre Harris

The 24-year-old used his last chance before the big decision to belt out a classic Jennifer Hudson song Listen, a song he picked because of the message after being “told no his whole life”.

Dalton, from Jamaica, wowed with his effortless vocals really hammering home the powerful lyrics.

Anthony Russell

The Liverpudlian labourer, who credits Tomlinson with helping him get back on the right track, made it to the lives last year but dropped out for personal reason.

This year, he returned with Scars by James Bay to wow the trio in Tomlinson’s plush Ibiza pad.

Ayda Field – The Overs

Olatunji Yearwood

Olatunji was the first of the category to perform for Field, after doing some relaxing meditation techniques and having a pool party in the luxurious Los Angeles setting.

He performed an original song bringing “energy and sweet spirit” to the category – and a pretty lively jacket – with his track about, well, himself true to his Soca style.

Janice Robinson

Janice also selected an original for her performance, singing a self-penned song called Love is in the Atmosphere.

Sounding like a missing track from hit musical Dreamgirls, Janice impressed with his flawless vocals.

Giovanni Spano

Gio, who says he has been “working his whole life for the show”, chose Use Somebody by Kings of Leon for his battle at Judges’ Houses.

The West End performer hit the right notes with his performance – complete with harmonies – and particularly impressed guest Lambert with his “eagerness”.

Danny Tetley

Bradford-born Danny once failed to win over Cowell on Pop Idol and has finally made it back to a singing show, this time his focus on charming Field.

Danny, who now lives in Benidorm, sang Eva Cassidy’s emotive classic Somewhere Over the Rainbow, hoping to strike gold.

THE FINAL CATEGORIES

The Girls (Simon Cowell) – Bella Penfold, Molly Scott, Scarlett Lee and Shan

The Boys (Louis Tomlinson) - Anthony Russell, Brendan Murray, Dalton Andre Harris and Armstrong Martins.

The Overs (Ayda Field) – Danny Tetley, Olatunji Yearwood, Giovanni Spano and Janice Robinson

The Groups (Robbie Williams) – Vibe 5, LMA Choir, Misunderstood and A*
