Ellie Goulding has admitted that she’s never seen Fifty Shades of Grey despite the fact her Grammy-nominated song features on the soundtrack.
The British singer’s hit single Love Me Like You Do, which was recorded for the film, has earned a Grammy and a Golden Globe nomination.
Speaking on Saturday night’s Jonathan Ross show, the 29-year-old revealed that she’d not actually had a chance to see how the track was used on screen.
When host Ross joked that didn't see the Sam Taylor Johnson-directed movie, Goulding responded: “Nor did I. No, which is awful.

“Honestly I never in a million years thought I’d be nominated, it was a Golden Globe and two Grammys in the same week and that just all kind of hit me and it was in the craziest week of my life, I’d been everywhere and so I couldn’t really be really blown away.
“I was too tired to appreciate it, too much else going on but now I’m like, Oh my God it’s insane and amazing.”
In the first episode of his new series, Ross is also joined by Gordon Ramsay and funnyman Steve Carell.
The US comedian, who is nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in The Big Short, admitted that he finds it hard to ‘play it cool’ when it comes to awards.
“I would like to pretend to be cool enough to not pay attention but I pay attention.”
The Jonathan Ross show is on Saturday January 9th at 9.15pm, ITV.
