The Apprentice viewers have mocked fired candidate Jeff Wan’s ‘tragic’ breakdancing after he unleashed his hidden talent.

Wan, who referred to himself as the "first breakdancing banker," left fans perplexed at how his dancing skills related to this week’s challenge, which saw the candidates tasked with renovating rooms at a five-star hotel.

Wan saw the creative challenge as the perfect chance to showcase a few steps, and performed a mini break dancing routine for the camera.

One viewer tweeted: “Why does Jeff keep mentioning his ‘background in breakdancing’ as if it’s relevant to business?”

Another wrote: “Jeff being creative on this task did not involve busting a move.”

Many viewers were left unimpressed with his technique, and posted gifs mocking his moves.

One Twitter user posted: “Is anyone going to tell Jeff that he’s not actually breakdancing?” while another wrote: “Jeff should have been sacked there and then for that tragic breakdancing display.”

His failure to take ownership of the numbers side of the task placed him firmly in the firing line where not even his breakdancing skills could save him, and he was sent home from the competition.

While Wan fans were disappointed to see The Apprentice’s first breakdancing banker get the boot, they took comfort in the idea that it could be an opportunity for him to follow his dancing dreams full time.

The Apprentice continues Wednesdays at 9pm on BBC One.
