Anyone who follows Lord Sugar on Twitter will know about his famous Twitter spats with media personality Piers Morgan.

The two frequently trade barbs, mostly in good will, and have even donated money to charity following their online disputes.

Now Lord Sugar has brought their Twitter “beef” into the real world by making a joke about Piers Morgan during the latest episode of The Apprentice.

The task saw the hapless candidates trying to create a children’s book, with one team devising ‘Snottydink’, a half-elephant half-dragon hybrid creature.

In the boardroom segment of the show, Lord Sugar wasted no time in using the character as a means to poke fun at Morgan.

“I got a note here from Karren [Brady] that the main character is a monster who lives a life of isolation until society learns to live with it. Sounds like the biography of Piers Morgan,” he said, getting a big laugh from the candidates.

Lord Sugar also took to Twitter earlier to remind viewers of the last time he made a joke at Piers Morgan's expense on The Apprentice.

It’s just the latest incident in their insult war this week, with Morgan sending Lord Sugar an article about plastic surgery, and Lord Sugar responding with aplomb.
