Howard Donald has dashed hopes of a full Take That reunion after revealed that Jason Orange has “gone off the grid”.

Orange left the band in 2014 shortly after they released their album Progress, which was the last time all five stars featured together.

But Robbie Williams reignited speculation regarding a reunion after joining Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Donald on stage over the weekend before hinting that he could be going on tour with them.

However, Donald has now dashed hopes of a full reunion as he revealed that they are not currently in contact with orange.

The star told ITV’s Loose Women: “Jason’s gone off the grid. He’s not taking emails or phone calls or stuff like that.

“But that’s good for him, that’s where he wants to be. I think he wants to be a million miles away from this at the moment.

“Who knows in the near future he might decide to change his mind and if he does he’s welcome back anytime.”

Donald also discussed what is was like when Orange first left the band four years ago, taking them from a foursome down to a threesome, but explained that they soon made the decision to carry on as a trio and make it work.

As well as their recent X Factor reunion, Williams also joined Barlow, Donald and Owen on stage at the opening night of The Band.

The group performed 2010 hit The Flood at the event, which was part of the Evening Standard’s AIDSfree Christmas appeal gala.
