The BBC has confirmed which songs and dances will feature in Strictly Come Dancing’s Hollywood special.

The 14 remaining celebrities and their partners will do their best to impress judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli with a routine set to a song from a film soundtrack.

Saturday night’s musical line-up is eclectic to say the least, with song choices ranging from Lorde’s moody cover of Everybody Wants To Rule The World from The Hunger Games to - wait for it - the Pokemon theme tune.

After topping the leaderboard with their combined week one and two score, CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual and his partner Amy Dowden will be doing the samba to Kung Fu Fighting.

In a nod to her aristocratic title, Viscountess Emma Weymouth will be foxtrotting to the Downton Abbey theme tune with partner Aljaz Skorjanec, while Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse will perform a Charleston to Trip A Little Light Fantastic from Mary Poppins Returns.

Speaking about his song choice during last week’s results show, the former Emmerdale star revealed that the track has a special significance for him.

“I’ve got a three-year-old daughter and the first time I took her to the cinema which was just six months ago, it was to see Mary Poppins Returns,” he said. “That soundtrack is on in the house constantly, so it’s very special to me.”
