Sex Box, Channel 4: the no-holds-barred talk show returns with Steve Jones and Goedele Liekens

Britain has a reputation for being tight-lipped and abashed when it comes to talking about sex.

And yet despite that, Channel 4 keep proving that we’re more than interested to watch and learn with its open and candid documentaries.

Following a headline-grabbing one-off episode in 2013, they're now bringing us a full series of Sex Box – the show that sees real UK couple have, well, sex in a box.

But that’s not the be-all and end-all of it. Presented by Steve Jones, the show is designed to open up a dialogue and get us all more comfortable with talking about our bedroom activities.

In its expanded series format, Sex Box sees couples talk about something they’ve never tried before or have previously wondered about, before popping into the box to give it a go with a bit of advice and guidance from sexologist Goedele Liekens.

Afterwards, they emerge to talk about their experience in front of a live audience.

“I’m looking forward to meeting more couples and getting an insight into their relationships through honest and open conversations about what goes on between the sheets,” Liekens says. “I can’t wait to spice up Britain’s love lives.”
