The Apprentice candidate Ryan-Mark Parsons has hit out at his former friend Lottie Lion after she alluded to his actions as “simple and cheap.”

The luxury consultant, 19, announced he had started selling signed photographs and personalised videos for £15 and £10 each respectively, after garnering a fan base while on the show.

But Lion, 20, later told her fans she would not be doing the same as she found it “sad.”

She wrote on Instagram: “I have been asked if I charge for signed photographs and videos, the answer is NO.

@LottieLion

“I would never charge my followers who support me for something as simple and cheap…[I] see it as a way to say thank you to you all. I think it is sad to profit off those who encourage you on a daily basis.

She added: “If you have asked me for a video or photo, know that you have been placed in a list and every week I pick three people at random and then send them out.

“Let us share the love and appreciation rather than charge for it. Let us remind ourselves that ‘candidates’ on The Apprentice are supposed to be business people, not earning money from those who watch it.”

In response to her message, Parsons claimed Lion had previously charged people for photographs and published a series of messages the two of them appear to have exchanged.

Posting on Twitter, he said: “In response to Lottie Lion’s false claims on Instagram. Here is the proof that she is a pathological liar.”

The pair were previously good friends on the series but fell out after Lion retweeted a tweet from former Apprentice winner Mark Wright when he criticised Parsons’ actions after the show.

They continued to exchange barbs on social media and appear to no longer be friends.

Both Parsons and Lion starred in the 2019 series of The Apprentice.

Parsons, who previously worked at Harrods in London, was fired after the eighth task while Lion was fired after the interviews stage.

The series was eventually won by bakery business owner Carina Lepore after she impressed Lord Sugar and never lost a task during the process.
