Who is in the On My Block cast?

While viewers were left questioning the fate of our quartet, it can be confirmed that Sierra Capri will be back as leader Monse, while Jason Genao will also be returning as the charming Reuben. Diego Tinoco is back as Cesar, while Brett Gray returns as scene-stealer Jamal.

The gang’s unassuming mentor Oscar, played by Julio Macias, features in the latest series, as well as Jasmine (Jessica Marie Garcia) - the highly irritating neighbour.

The terrifying crime lord Cuchillos, who fronts the chilling Santos organisation, is played by Ada Luz Pla, who you may recognise from popular hospital drama Grey's Anatomy.

Mallory James Mahoney will play the coarse, cocaine-snorting Ainsley Riches, while Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson returns as Jamal's love interest, Kendra.

What happened in season 2 of the Netflix show?

Following on after the murder of Olivia by Latrelle at her quinceanera, Reuben is left with survivors’ guilt and PTSD for having survived the incident – with the support of his family and friends, Reuben recovers.

Elsewhere, having found the $250,000 RollerWorld money, Jamal is paranoid that it coiuld be stolen – with the group deciding to launder the money through Money Bunny and get protection from the Santos gang.

When Cesar tried to confront Latrelle about Olivia’s murder, he finds himself jumped by Latrelle’s gang, the Prophets.

In a bid to send Latrelle down for good, Cesar hatches a plan – after deliberately being captured by the Prophets, Cesar tricks some of them into taking some of the dirty RollerWorld money – which sees them arrested after their house is raided.

As Monse reveals she’s going to be heading for an all-girls boarding school, the guys, not taking her seriously, are kidnapped by masked men. As they’re bundled into the back of a black van, Monse turns around – which sees her abducted too.

What details do we know about the new series?

The latest series sees the squad’s kidnapper revealed as Cuchillos, who heads up the Santos gang. While she initially thanks our foursome for helping put the Prophets behind bars, she now has another task for them: find (the previously presumed dead) Lil’ Ricky, or she’ll kill them.

Caught between a rock and a hard place, the gang must choose between handing over the former gang member, or putting themselves in danger – again.
