Katie Price left fans fearing for her health after she returned to Loose Women following a “medical emergency”.
Price, 39, was seen with a noticeably different appearance as she spoke to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield with her fellow Loose Women panellists.
Explaining Price’s absence, Andrea McLean said: “Katie is back with us this morning. You’re going to be hearing how a simple procedure led to a medical emergency.
“She’s not been very well.”
Viewers voiced their concern that she has undergone too much plastic surgery with one tweeting: “Katie Price needs to stop pumping s*** in her face.”
Another posted: “Bit concerned about our @KatiePrice - she’s doesn’t seem herself at all. Bless her.”
Price explained that she was left “really ill” after flying to Turkey to get new veneers as she had unknowingly been taking penicillin, which she is allergic to.
She said: “I know I have cosmetic procedures, but this is the only one ever I do need because when I was young I fell off a skateboard and cracked all my front teeth.
“Last week I was due on the show but on my way I felt really ill and I realised I was taking penicillin and I’m allergic.”
It comes days after she told Piers Morgan to “shut up” after he mocked her appearance during a chat on Good Morning Britain ahead of her flight to Turkey.
Morgan kicked off the chat by addressing her dental work, asking: “She can’t speak which is quite funny. You’re in agony right?”
Price replied: “I’ve got luminous teeth because I’ve got a gum shield on because I’m having my teeth done.
“My mouth is full of ulcers and I’m flying off to Turkey later to get new teeth.”
Price has been upfront about undergoing cosmetic surgery having had a boob job, facelift and rhinoplasty.
