Jordan Banjo broke down in tears on I’m A Celebrity as he confessed to feeling homesick in the jungle.

The diversity star got tearful during Wednesday night’s episode as he chatted to campmate Lisa Snowdon about missing his friends and family.

“Then we’re on tour I’m always with my Mum and brother, I feel homesick, I literally keep finding myself getting emotional, I hate it," he said.

Trying to comfort him, Snowdon said: “Just think about those lovely things, you’re going to have cuddles and chats etc, that’ll keep you going, they’ll be super proud of you."

The 23-year-old then had to get up and walk away as he was clearly overcome with emotion.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph later in the episode, he said: “It all got a bit emotional for me, I got up, had a little walk up by the dunny and came back and I was fine.”

A number of the camp mates have been finding the transition hard in the first few days, with footballer Wayne Bridge also getting emotional.

During a chat with Larry Lamb, Bridge said that he was struggling to cope with not being around his children.

“I had a chat with Larry this morning, and some of the things he was telling me just made me think of my family,” he said.

Scarlett Moffatt and Carol Vorderman also had a rather stressful experience during Wednesday’s show as they were nominated to take part in the Bush Tucker Bake Off.

The pair had to munch their way through a variety of delicacies including turkey testicles and camel nipples.
