The I’m A Celebrity camp has a new Prime Minister after viewers voted for Stanley Johnson to replace Iain Lee as jungle leader.
The public’s choice to appoint the former politician and father of Boris Johnson to the role was immediately popular among the campmates, with Rebekah Vardy commenting: “Stanley as PM, he was born for the role.”
But Johnson himself wasn’t quite as convinced, telling the other celebrities: “My administration will probably be very short, very feeble but we’ll do our best.”
His first act as Prime Minister didn't bode particularly well, after he managed to deflate his luxury item, a lilo, by holding it too close to one of the camp’s candles.
Elsewhere in Sunday’s episode, Vardy and Jamie Lomas faced Bushtucker Trial The Hole, which saw them locked up in three different chambers containing cockroaches, rats and crocodiles.

Despite one of the reptiles deciding to perch on Lomas’ neck and the ex-Hollyoaks actor admitting he was terrified of rats, both of the celebrities managed to stay put in each of the sections long enough to win stars.
At the end of the challenge they had amassed a total of 11 out of a possible 11, which meant meals for the whole of camp.
