I'm A Celebrity contestant Dennis Wise has taken on Temple of Gloom - the Bushtucker Trial that reduced Iain Lee to tears last week.

In scenes to be aired in Tuesday's episode, the ex-footballer can be seen getting surprised by a baby crocodile as he swims around an obstacle course.

Ant and Dec told Wise that he was faring a lot better than Lee had despite only just beginning the task.

“Already a better start than Iain,” McPartlin said.

The star made good progress through the trial, managing to secure two stars from a chamber filled with water dragons and spiders.

But as he opened the covering to move on to the next section, a baby crocodile poked his head out, giving him a shock.

“Oh jeez. F*** me, they’re bigger,” he shouted.

Earlier in the series, Lee faced the Temple of Gloom challenge which saw him struggle with having to hold his breath to swim to the first compartment.

After failing to find the entrance, he swam back and said: “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here.”

On his return to camp he was forced to break the news that he hadn’t managed to earn any stars for the group. He broke down as he admitted: “I couldn’t do it…it was f****** horrible.”
