A new Panorama documentary on the BBC is set to bring fresh evidence and investigations into the FIFA corruptions and bribery scandal.

The one-hour film, titled FIFA, Sepp Blatter and Me, sees reporter Andrew Jennings investigate the accusations that have rocked the Football Association in recent months.

In particular, the documentary will look at the involvement of suspended President Sepp Blatter, who is currently unable to represent FIFA while the corruption investigation continues.

Jennings has been looking into the affairs of FIFA for 15 years, and this time provides insights into the FBI investigation which alleges that Blatter was aware of a $100 million bribery case involving FIFA’s former sports marketing firm ISL in the Nineties.

According to the BBC, the documentary “promises fresh evidence that Sepp Blatter has known about corruption all along”, and will also look into the supposed bribery that may have led to Qatar being awarded World Cup hosting duties for 2022.
