EastEnders viewers were whipped up into a frenzy when Danny Dyer appeared on screen in a pair of very tight trousers.

Despite the drama and Christmas festivities in Walford, Dyer and his “bulge” proved quite the talking point on Tuesday night's show.

The actor – who plays Mick Carter in the BBC soap – was seen interrupting his wife Linda’s conversation with Sharon Mitchell to show off his trousers.

Carter said: “I think these trousers are a little bit tight, don’t you?”

A shocked Mitchell replied: “So the rumours are true!”

But Mitchell wasn’t the only person distracted by his “package”.

Fans flocked to Twitter to express their reactions to the scene with one tweeting: “Just had to rewind #eastenders to take a good look at Danny Dyer's bulge after that scene. Definitely a pair of socks down there!”

Others used the aubergine emoji as they called for the show’s storyline to hurry up so they could get back to “peeping at Mick's bulge”.

Not everyone was delighted at the site with one viewer tweeting: “Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Mick's trousers.”

Another posted: “Seriously Mick, what the hell is going on with those trousers!”

The scene comes weeks after Dyer boasted about having a big package and secrety showed it to Holly Willoughby on Celebrity Juice.
