Dani Dyer has reportedly been promised a spot on Love Island after a shoulder injury forced her to quit Survival of the Fittest.

The 22-year-old daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer was forced to leave the South-African savannah after dislocating her shoulder during a challenge in the first episode.

However, according to the Daily Star, she has now been promised a spot in this summer’s line-up on Love Island.

A source told them: “Producers saw in the brief time they got to know Dani that she is sure-fire TV gold like her dad.

"She is funny, sharp and sexy, in many ways she is the perfect Love Islander.”

Upon her departure from the show, Dyer hinted that she may be given another chance by the ITV2 team.

The barmaid admitted that she was “absolutely gutted” to be leaving so soon, however she added: “I hope this isn’t the last you’ve seen of me.”

Viewers saw Dyer injure herself on a slide on Sunday night’s episode before being escorted to hospital.

Commenting on his daughter’s return, Danny took to Instagram to express his pride.

He posted an adorable snap of the pair stood together with Dani’s hand resting on his shoulder.

Danny captioned the post: “Live and Let Live baby girl. Taken out by a boll**ky slide.

“Don’t think my heart could have taken another 3 weeks of that caper. #proud.”

The news comes after Danny warned his daughter against doing anything “silly” ahead of her entry.

The show, pegged as the “new Love Island” promises to be a battle of the sexes, with mental and physical challenges to push the teams.
