Alex Beresford has been sent home from Dancing on Ice after losing out to Kem Cetinay in the skate off.

Love Island star Cetinay was saved by the judges in an unanimous decision.

Good Morning Britain weatherman Beresford said he’d had “the best time” taking part in the show and thanked his partner Brianne Delcourt.

“It was everything I could have wished for," he said.

"Thank you so much to Brianne who has been a complete soldier throughout the competition.”

Sunday’s show saw the skaters tackle another tricky judges’ challenge, incorporating a spinning jump called the salchow.

Jake Quickenden topped the leaderboard once more, with he and partner Vanessa Bauer scoring a 38 from the judges - the highest in the competition so far.

The other competitors skating through to the semi-final were Brooke Vincent and Max Evans.
