Karthik Nagesan has become the second housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother.
The contestant left to a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd, and stopped at the top of the stairs to “soak it all in”.
He told Emma Willis he was still surprised to have appeared on the show.
“I’m in Celebrity Big Brother, who would have thought that 12 years ago when I stepped off the boat, I mean the plane?” he explained.
When asked why he thought others had nominated him for eviction, Nagesan revealed he felt his ‘geekiness’ and relative anonymity would have worked against him in the vote.

“I’m a little bit of a geek, I’m a bit of a nerd, I thought the vote bank would be hard to shift. I was against the hunk of the house.”
During his time on the show, Nagesan found himself at the centre of a race row after viewers accused Paul Danan of deliberately mispronouncing his name.
The pair argued after Danan struggled to say Nagesan’s first name correctly, causing the Apprentice star to think he had referred to him as Qatar as in Qatar Airways, a Middle Eastern airline.
Once Danan had apologised, the two housemates managed to patch things up. But despite their repaired relationship, Nagesan still received enough nominations from his fellow housemates to put him up for eviction.
Addressing his dispute with Danan, he described the actor as "a very interesting case".
When the nominations were replayed the housemates described Nagesan as ‘annoying’ and said he brought 'nothing' to the the house.
Chad Johnson even went as far as to say “He’s just not fitting in with the family.”
