It’s an all-female house for now – but a group of male contestants will be making their way into the Celebrity Big Brother house on Friday.

They will join current stars Ann Widdecombe, Malika Haqq, Rachel Johnson, Ashley James, India Willoughby, Jess Impiazzi, Maggie Oliver and Amanda Barrie, who all entered on Tuesday’s launch night in a Big Brother first to mark a century since women won the right to vote.

Former England and Liverpool footballer John Barnes was later revealed as the first male star to break up the female house.

The announcement was made by host Rylan Clark-Neal on spin-off show Big Brother's Bit On The Side as New Order hit World In Motion, which Barnes appeared on when it was released for the 1990 World Cup, played out.

So who else could be heading in?

Pete Wicks

The TOWIE regular looks set to follow in the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend Megan McKenna and enjoy a stint in the famous reality TV home. Show bosses have reportedly been keen to sign up the star, with a source telling The Sun: “CBB are determined to get a big Towie star this year, and Pete is the obvious choice as he’s had some huge storylines.

“Pete has already said he needs a break from the show and seeing as this is going to be a big money deal it’s looking like a no-brainer.”

Jonny Mitchell

Love Island’s Mr Nasty could be swapping the Majorcan villa for the Elstree compound just weeks after splitting from Stephanie Pratt. According to OK! Mitchell has put aside £100,000 to spend on a lavish party ahead of his possible stint in the house.

“He could be in the Celebrity Big House for the whole series so he’s obviously going to miss his mates and his family,” a source told the publication.

Shane Lynch

Former Boyzone heart throb Lynch is rumoured to be part of the line-up of male stars heading into the house on Friday night. If so, his appearance would come four years after his sister, and Bewitched singer Edele Lynch, took part.

Dapper Laughs

The controversial comedian, who describes himself as a “feminist”, looks set to mark his comeback with a stint in the CBB house. The father-of-one, real name Daniel O'Reilly, teased fans after he retweeted a post from a fan who asked if he was taking part. A source told The Sun that he is needed to “ruffle some feathers with the ladies”.

They said: “Dapper Laughs is going to make great TV and he's definitely going to spice things up in the house.”

Courtney Act

The RuPaul’s Drag Race star, real name Shane Jenek, will reportedly sashay her way into the house on Friday night with a source saying she “won't be intimidated by any of the big personalities”. A source told The Sun: “Courtney has seen everything as a drag queen so nothing will faze her in the house. She's a pro who won't be intimidated by any of the big personalities in there and she won't back down from a row.”

Andrew Brady

He survived multiple grillings from Lord Sugar, so a stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house should be a doddle. A source told The Sun: “Andrew made quite the impact on [The Apprentice]. Lord Sugar won’t be keeping his eye on him in the CBB house so he’ll be free to really enjoy himself.”

Ginuwine

Show bosses are reportedly hoping the singer, whose hit Pony became the soundtrack for Magic Mike, will “spark a romance” in the house, with a source telling The Sun: “Ginuwine is single and known for being a seriously smooth operator. Producers are hoping that one of the female contestants will fall for his irresistible charms.”
