Ginuwine has become the fifth person to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The musician was beaten by Johnny Mitchell, Ann Widdecombe, Wayne Sleep and Daniel O’Reilly in the public vote.

He told host Emma Willis that there was ‘no love lost’ over the result.

“I had a wonderful time. It was something that I never expected, even to get this far. I really had a great time. I just wanted to thank everyone. It’s much love to everybody, no love lost,” he said.

During his time in the house Ginuwine struck up a romance with Ashley James.

The contestant received three nominations, one of which was from actress Amanda Barrie, who admitted she wanted to see how James would cope ‘without her man’.

Addressing his relationship with the former Made in Chelsea star, he said: “We really clicked and in a place like that. This is foreign territory going in a house like that full of strangers.”

Willis pressed Ginuwine on whether the relationship was ‘real’.

“I think it was what it was on the show and I’m wanting it to see what it’ll be after. You can’t say that you love some one or you’re wanting to marry them after a few weeks but I think it’s a genuine connection,” he said.

“I would like to see where it goes, I’m definitely going to talk to her when she comes up. We’re definitely going to hook up when she comes over [to the US],” he continued.

He also revealed that the pair had exchanged ‘friendship rings’ which they were both sporting on their ring fingers, causing Willis to jokingly ask: “Is it too early to buy a hat?”

Celebrity Big Brother continues weekdays at 9pm on Channel 5.
