The very close friendship between Irish model Jeremy McConnell and ex-Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis has reached a new peak on Celebrity Big Brother.
The pair immediately bonded in the reality TV house despite Davis having a boyfriend, Sam Reece, outside the house, and have been seen cuddling in bed and kissing.
Now, McConnell has admitted that he ‘fallen in love’ with Davis on TV, and ‘doesn’t care’ what people think.
Speaking to Davis in the bedroom, he admitted: “We’re back to our normal lives after this, this is why I just embrace being with you and the time I spend with you. You fall in love in certain weird place [sic], and you have a connection with people, you know.
“It’s something that we’re not going to do ever again, do you get me. This is like, we’re on Celebrity Big Brother, we’ll look back on this with like, ‘I fell in love on TV with a bird’. Regardless of what anyone says, that’s what happened with me anyway.”
When Davis responded with an “Oh stop it,” McConnell continued: “That’s true though – I don’t care what people think. You know when you look at someone. Your eyes never lie.”
While Stephanie has frequently insisted that she is just friends with McConnell, many of the pair's fellow housemates have advised them to keep away from each other.

Davis’ boyfriend Sam Reece tweeted early on in the series that he would no longer be supporting her on the show, but clarified that he had not ended their relationship and would speak to her once she leaves the series.
