It’s Saturday once more and we all know what that means…another helping of Britain’s Got Talent!

Tonight, the final golden buzzer was pressed as Amanda Holden fell in love with a young band. They’ll join four other acts who have definitely made it through to the semi-finals week.

Things got off to a rocky start when the electrics failed for the opening act, stopping him from using his keyboard. But, with the help of the crew, Ant and Dec and the judges, Russell got the job done in the end.

Here are five must-see auditions from episode six…

Chapter 13: The young boyband impressed with their vocals

Brotherhood

The “game of mystery” involved a voiceover, which sounded a bit like Big Brother used to, and an echo commanding the presenters and judges about. The aim was to hide swords in boxes, fall on them and hope for the best. Oh, and the men were wearing masks because why not?

Four yeses for the dangerous trio.

Kronos Girls

We see a lot of dance acts on the show - they may even be the most popular entry each year. But every so often, a group comes along determined to spread a wider message. Enter the girls from Croydon, who made an impassioned plea for women to vote before they started their Suffragette-Inspired routine.

Dressed all in black, the powerful routine was fast and furious with everything perfectly timed. Standing ovation and four yeses.

Colin Thackery

Colin, a Chelsea Pensioner, paid tribute to his late wife Joan - who passed away in his arms in 2016 - with a beautiful rendition of Bette Midler’s Wind Beneath My Wings. They even used the music from Up during his VT before, which pretty much set us all off.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house by the end. Four yeses.

Ben Hart

The London-born magician had a glint in his eye from the word go, desperate to show the world all about magic. And wow, did he do that. Tricks from Ben’s routine included turning a piece of paper into an egg - which he then cracked - and caging a member of the audience with a very surprising result.

Four yeses. We need to watch it again…and again.

Chapter 13

The young boyband - aged between 13 and 15 - performed a Stevie Wonder medley, also playing their own instruments as well.

There was no need for a vote as Holden clamped down on her golden buzzer to send them through to the semi-final shows. Sign, Sealed, Delivered….
