After last night’s first semi-final episode saw Welsh choir Côr Glanaethwy and dance group Entity Allstars make it through to Sunday’s final of Britain’s Got Talent, two more acts have joined them.
From Monday to Friday, the public are voting two acts from each live semi-final show into Sunday’s grand final.
The public vote put Jules O’Dwyer and her adorable dog Matisse through immediately to the final, after another immaculately performed comedy routine, this time set in a toy shop, which was evidently a favourite of the studio audience as well as with the rest of the country.
The two runner-up acts were then pitched head-to-head, with the judges able to either vote one through, or revert to the public vote.
Tuesday’s runners up were Old Men Grooving, a group of 40-60 year old men who performed an energetic routine to hip-hop and R&B classics, and gospel choir Revelation Avenue, who performed a soulful take on Beyonce’s hit single Halo.
Simon had the choice to revert to the public vote or put Revelation Avenue into the final – a decision which he evidently found particularly difficult. He opted to go for the public vote, which saw Old Men Grooving make it through to the final.
