With this week being the last round of auditions, the BGT team were in high spirits. From an Eighties-themed Irish dancing duo to a spaghetti-spewing magician, there were plenty of quirky acts in this week’s show. Here are the five acts you need to see from the final round of auditions.

1. Dancer David Geaney

Twenty-two year-old barman and student from Ireland David Geaney gave his amazing Riverdance-esque tapdance skills a spectacular backdrop as he danced in unison with his own image.

After displaying some seriously fancy footwork not to mention top tech skills, he was put through to the next stage.

2. Entertainer Audley Buckle

Yorkshireman Buckle showed up on stage in a shiny silver suit jacket and proceeded to do the funky chicken.

Despite the lyrics to song ‘Chicken and Chips’ not diversifying much beyond those two words, the catchy comedy tune was enough to send him through.

Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden loved it, even though both confessed they’re vegetarians and Simon Cowell even dusted off his Yorkshire accent for the occasion.

3. Magician Neil Henry

Neil Henry from Bedford baffled the crowd by eating a piece of string and downing alphabet spaghetti out of a wine glass.

After necking the whole thing, he invited Alesha up on stage and asked her to choose a word from the dictionary.

She selected ‘testify’ and he pulled the alphabet spaghetti back out of his mouth on the string with the letters spelling out the word she’d picked.

4. Lords of Strut

The Jedward-esque Seantastic and Famous Seamus are brothers from Cork, Ireland where they work as waiters at their uncle Tony’s bistro.

Their Eighties-inspired dance routine to A-ha’s Take On Me, kaleidoscopic costumes and silly haircuts failed to impress Simon, but all three of the other judges were big fans, with Amanda saying ‘Lords of Strut, I love you’.

5. Singer Sue Moretta

Despite some slightly iffy tuning, her cheeky attitude and swinging style got the judges and audience on their feet.

David Walliams got so overexcited his trousers fell down. Simon said ‘I’m traumatised’, though that was more in reference to David’s state of undress than Sue’s singing (we think).

This story has been amended to clarify that Chicken and Chips was written by the band Superfly.
