Is there anything more comforting than being home, warm, and dry, while watching Bear Grylls and co battling the elements?

Well get ready to grab the thickest blanket you’ve got – Mission Survive is returning.

The ITV reality series sees Grylls head back into the wilderness, taking a bunch of celebs with him to see if they can tough it out.

This time, the seven brave celebrities taking on the plains of South Africa include Coronation Street actress Michelle Collins, Neil Morrissey, and former England football player Stuart Pearce.

There’s also footballer Alex Scott, who plays for Arsenal and England Ladies, Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner, Casualty actress Chelsee Healey, and Samantha Barks, known for playing Éponine in Les Miserables.

Across the twelve days, the contestants trekked the mountains, scavenged for food, build their own shelters, and munched down on – gulp – Mopane worms.

“We’d really planned this journey to be significantly harder in every respect,” reveals Grylls.

“Last year, I did a lot for them in the early days, then we gradually stripped it back. This time we went in hard, fast and early. I think all of them – even those who felt well-prepared – were pretty shocked. They didn’t realise they were going to be quite so in at the deep end, so early.”

See who’ll thrive and who’ll struggle when the series returns on Thursday, March 3.
