If you couldn't get enough of Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington's tussle over a podgy stomach in The September Issue – you’re going to love Absolutely Fashion: Inside British Vogue.

For the first time in British Vogue’s history, fashion fans will be able to take a sneak peek behind-the-scenes of one of the most prestigious fashion magazines.

The famously secret publication opened its doors to TV cameras and invited documentary filmmaker Richard Macer to capture life inside Vogue House as it prepared for the 100th anniversary.

The two-part series follows editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman and the day-to-day runnings, from interviews to meetings and fashion shoots over a nine month period.

Episode one will introduce viewers to Shulman’s team, including fashion director Lucinda Chambers, creative director Jaime Perlman, fashion features director Sarah Harris and editor-at-large Fiona Golfar.

Supermodel Kate Moss – who has graced the cover 36 times – also features, alongside reality TV star Kim Kardashian and fashion designer Victoria Beckham.

Speaking about the new fly-on-the-wall documentary, Shulman said: "At Vogue we are more used to being behind the lens than in front of it. The process of being filmed over such a long period of time was intriguing although at times, testing."

But don’t expect to find out all the ins and outs of the iconic publication. Macer may think he's getting viewers an access all areas look, but Shulman remains tight lipped, and even manages to trick him into thinking she's let him in on the chosen cover for the centenary issue.

Absolutely Fashion: Inside British Vogue is on BBC2 at 9pm
