Real-life Thunderbirds are go in a new theatre production based on the hit TV show.

Thunderbirds: Beyond the Horizon recreates the world of International Rescue’s Tracy family, who were portrayed by puppets in the Sixties and with CGI in the ITV reboot, with characters including high-society agent Lady Penelope.

The new show’s producer, Emma Brunjes, said it would be “part-immersive, part-interactive”: “We will have our own real-life Tracy brothers and a real-life Lady P.”

The show, which opens at The Buzz in Borough in November, is produced in collaboration with ITV.

Tickets go on general sale tomorrow.
