Hamilton tickets London: When are the new batch of tickets released? How to book your seats for the West End musical

1/7

If you're desperate to get your hands on a Hamilton ticket, we don't blame you. Since it opened in in 2017, it has received a plethora of five-star reviews and safely secured its status as one of the biggest shows in the West End.

Getting tickets may seem almost as hard as it was to set up the United States Constitution, but don't fret: a new booking period has just been announced right up until the end of June this year.

If you’ve not bagged a ticket already, it doesn’t mean you’ve thrown away your shot. There are still ways to nab a seat in the Victoria Palace Theatre for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Pulitzer Prize-winning musical.

Get tickets for the new booking period

Hurrah! A new booking period has just been announced for tickets from May 27 until June 29 (which includes half term). These tickets will go on sale today (February 11) at noon so make sure you're ready to refresh that booking page.

Enter the daily ticket lottery

The daily ticket lottery means you’ll never throw away your shot - there’s always another a chance the next day. You can enter via the website or the official mobile app for performances taking place in two days time, and tickets are a STEAL at £10 each.

If you download the app, you’ll receive a notification every time there’s a new lottery open to enter. Winners can buy up to two tickets, so if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again.

Keep an eye on the Hamilton social media accounts

Every so often, a batch of tickets will be released for a particular performance, and it will be announced on the Hamilton West End Twitter and Facebook accounts. Keep an eagle eye out on their updates so you’re always in the know.

Check, check and check again

Make the Ticketmaster website your new best friend and refresh it as often as you would if you were waiting for the most important email of your life. Returned tickets often appear for sale here, so it’s a great low key way to bag yourself a seat in the room where it happens.

Don’t be silly

Forget eBay, Gumtree, or the friendly-seeming but random person in the street who is offering you a Hamilton ticket for £500. There are strong measures in place to prevent pesky touts from selling tickets at inflated prices, with a paperless ticketing system operating for all customers. No paper tickets are issued in advance, and you’ll need the card you paid with, photo ID and your original printed email ticket confirmation to gain entry.
