The first production pictures have been released of 9 to 5 the Musical in the West End.

Based on the 1980s film, this musical, which runs until August 31 at the Savoy Theatre, stars Love Island’s Amber Davies, Natalie McQueen and Caroline Sheen as co-workers Judy, Doralee and Violet.

The three workmates are pushed to the edge by their sexist boss, played by Brian Conley, and devise a plan to kidnap him.

The musical was first performed on Broadway in 2009, with a book by the film’s screenwriter Patricia Resnick. With original songs by Dolly Parton, including iconic title tune 9 to 5, the score has won Grammy and Tony awards.

Louise Redknapp was set to open the show as Violet, but had to withdraw from the role after falling and injuring herself on her way to rehearsals. She will take over from Caroline Sheen at the end of March.
