Celebrating London’s musical diversity, and more specifically the cultural importance and musical history of Oxford Street’s legendary 100 Club, fashion brand Converse are hosting a series of free live events featuring some of the biggest names in music.

Held over nine nights the series will feature more than 40 artists, including hip-hop superstar Nas, current man of the moment Plan B, Paul Weller and reggae legends Toots & The Maytals.

Also playing will be Paul Weller, SBTRKT, Santigold, UK Subs and Spiritualized.

But the most exciting addition to the line up? Blur have been announced as the very special guests to headline on August 2 - this is a one-off chance to see the legends perform in a truly intimate space. If you didn't manage to bag tickets to their Hyde Park gig, this is your chance.

The ‘Represent’ summer series will be held at the famous 100 Club, the longest running popular music venue in the world, from July 30 to August 10, with tickets free to ballot winners via www.converse.co.uk/represent .

Opening in 1942 the 100 Club was a mecca for jazz musicians, and later the punk movement, and has seen the likes of Louie Armstrong, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney play its intimate 350-capacity room.
