Pop punk Pork And Beans hit-makers Weezer are set to come to London as part of their 2017 tour.

Following the release of recent single Feels Like Summer, the band will play the Wembley Arena on October 28, following shows in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham.

The band’s frontman, Rivers Cuomo, has also suggested the band are likely to play a set at Reading and Leeds this year, tweeting, non too subtly: “predicting weezer to be the secret act at reading. i'm feeling it.”

Mind you, this is also the man who tweeted: “can i teach you how to unicycle”, so make of it what you will.

The LA band, formed in 1992, first hit it big with ‘Undone – The Sweater Song’. The video, one unbroken shot of the band playing while dogs swarmed the set, was filmed by Spike Jones and quickly gained traction on MTV. The band has had two hiatus’ and comebacks in their 25 year career, and have sold more than 25 million records.
