Taylor Swift has confirmed that her latest album 1989 will be available to stream on Apple’s new music streaming service.

Apple Music, launching next week, will be the only service of its kind to host the album. Swift has previously pulled all of her music from Spotify, and while many of her albums are available on Jay-Z’s TIDAL, her latest LP is not.

The move comes just days after Swift openly criticised Apple in a Tumblr post over their plans not to pay artists during a free trial period for new Apple Music users.

After Swift’s open letter, Apple reversed their plans, and announced that during the three-month free trial for listeners, artists would still be paid.
