Rolling Stones fans will soon be able to catch the band as they've never been seen before on British shores, as an immersive live screening of one of their biggest concerts is set to tour the UK.

The band famously put on a free outdoor concert in Havana back in 2016 to around half a million people, which remains a record crowd in Cuba. The performance was captured concert film The Rolling Stones: Havana Moon, which is now set to be shown across the country in a series of special shows.

The 11-night tour hopes to recreate the atmosphere of that night, with Cuban dancers and set design that mimics the original show. Event organisers are promising ultra HD video projection and a world-class sound system to offer fans the closest experience to seeing the legendary band live.

Of the Havana Moon concert, Mick Jagger said: “We were so happy to be playing Cuba in 2016. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. Sharing the stage with the ‘revolutionary’ Ronnie Wood, Charlie ‘Che’ Watts and ’compadre’ Keith Richards was one very special night.”

The screenings begin on Monday October 14 in Southend, before culminating in a show at London’s Kentish Town Forum on Sunday October 27.

Tickets are priced from £35 and go on sale at 10am on Friday June 14. They can be purchased here.
