A new radio station dedicated entirely to playing music from the last decade has been launched this morning.

Absolute Radio 10s will feature music from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Drake and Coldplay, celebrating the music of the past ten years.

It’s the most recent specialist station from Absolute Radio, which has channels dedicated to each decade from the 1960s onwards.

Dave Berry presents the weekday Breakfast show on the Absolute Radio network, while Bush and Richie look after the Hometime slot. Frank Skinner and Jason Manford host shows on weekend mornings, with listeners given a choice of eight playlists.

Berry said: “I’m like the Dr Who of radio as the only breakfast presenter at the helm of parallel universes.

“My one live show is now partnered with no fewer than eight playlists to give listeners their favourite songs, no matter what their favourite decade is or what mood they’re in.”
