Lady Gaga has confirmed a new release date for her upcoming album Chromatica, after the initial drop was postponed amid the Covid-19 crisis.

The American artist, whose live-streamed concert last month helped raise more than £100m in the battle against coronavirus, will now deliver her sixth studio album on May 29.

The original due date was April 10, but in March, Gaga wrote in a letter to fans that “it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.”

She has since confirmed the tracklist for Chromatica — featuring Elton John, Ariana Grande and more — and has now set in stone the new release schedule.

So far, one track has been unveiled from Chromatica, called Stupid Love. Read our review of the song here.

Also be sure to check out the live album recorded during Gaga’s One World benefit show, which is a whopping 79 tracks long.
