Gladys Knight has announced a string of UK tour dates for 2019 — including two massive London shows.

The Empress of Soul will visit seven cities across the country in June and July next year, stopping off at the Royal Albert Hall for a pair of performances.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday September 13, and will be available for purchase here.

The full 2019 tour dates are:

June 22 — Manchester 02 Apollo
June 23 — Leeds First Direct Arena 
June 24 — Birmingham Symphony Hall 
June 26 — London Royal Albert Hall
June 27 — London Royal Albert Hall

June 29 — Bournemouth International Centre
June 30 — Nottingham Royal Concert Hall
July 1 — Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

The 74-year-old singer rose to fame in the 1960s as part of Gladys Knight and The Pips on the famed Motown label. She has since recorded more than 40 studio albums and is regarded as one of the finest vocalists of the 21st century.
