Childish Gambino, aka actor Donald Glover, has done something remarkable in the video for his new song, This is America. It’s a state of the nation address, a deeply disturbing mix of euphoric dancing and gun violence in a stark white warehouse.

Having released their last album in September 2016, pop band Bastille returned with a brand new song this week. Quarter Past Midnight is streaming now.

Confusingly named duo Marian Hill release their second album, Unusual, today. Songs such as Wish You Would continue the minimal synthpop vibe of their big early single, Down.

Mercury nominated for their debut in 2014, Jungle are back with two new songs that are very different. Happy man recalls the smooth funk of their earlier work, while House in LA is a hazy, beautiful ballad.

About 12 years since she was last in the UK top 10 as a solo artist, Christina Aguilera has put out a powerful, up-to-the-minute-sounding new single. Accelerate features a buzzy bassline and contributions from Ty Dolla Sign and 2 Chainz.
