Bob and Rita’s son makes an appearance as part of Jamaica House, a season of musicians from his homeland at the O2 complex’s smaller venue.

Sunfall

Aug 12, Brockwell Park, SE24 (sunfall.co.uk)

Brockwell Park doesn’t see a great deal of festival action next to its bigger siblings Victoria, Finsbury and Hyde. Now there’s Sunfall, which features a record fair, an impressive sounding “knowledge arena” and a leftfield music bill including Floating Points, Gilles Peterson and Jay Electronica.

Laurence Galpin, a folk artist collaborating with experimental duo Grasscut, plays songs from his recently released debut album FramesPerSecond.

Nina Nesbitt

Aug 15, Camden Assembly, NW1 (020 7424 0800, camdenassembly.com)

The Scottish singer-songwriter, known as the subject of Ed Sheeran’s song Nina, has a new record deal and a new electronic pop sound, which she’ll display at this small show.

Andrew Hung

One half of Bristol’s experimental electronic rock duo Fuck Buttons, Hung plays an intimate free show previewing songs from a debut solo album coming in October.
