Jamie xx

He missed out on the Mercury Prize, but one-third of The xx’s commercial fortunes remain high. This is the biggest London show he’s announced so far.

Leon Bridges

April 8, O2 Academy Brixton, SW9 (0844 477 2000, o2academybrixton.co.uk)

The retro man from Texas, a vintage photograph come to life, is still gigging hard and finding a growing audience for his impeccable soul sounds.

Coldplay

With the Christmas shopping barely started, you can now start planning your summer. Coldplay’s comeback is the first of three huge London summer shows newly announced, playing the poppier sounds of their new album, A Head Full of Dreams.

Rihanna

June 24, June 16-18, Wembley Stadium, HA9 (0844 980 8001, wembleystadium.com)

At the time of writing, the existence of Rihanna’s new album remains a mystery wrapped in an enigma, but a massive world tour for 2016 is a reality. She’ll arrive at Wembley Stadium not long after Coldplay.

Mumford & Sons

The folk-rockers turned flat-out-rockers follow Take That in announcing a Hyde Park show. They’ll be joined by Alabama Shakes and Wolf Alice.
