The intense singer-songwriter released her first album in 1979 but only really became prolific in the 2000s. Her twelfth, The Ghosts of Highway 20, is out this week.

Two gigs promoting MTV’s latest list of music tips for the year ahead, headlined by rather more familiar names Craig David on Tuesday and Bloc Party on Wednesday. Newcomers Anne-Marie, WSTRN, Rat Boy and Nimmo complete the line-up.
