Dido announces Hampton Court Palace Festival 2020 show: How to get tickets

Dido has announced her first London date of the year, after being announced as the headliner of Hampton Court Palace Festival.

The White Flag singer will top the bill at the event on Friday June 12.

It’s also been announced that Tom Jones will perform at the festival on Tuesday June 9, while Björn Again will bring the songs of ABBA to the venue on Saturday June 13.

Dido made her name with the albums No Angel and Life for rent, which reached number one in 1999 and 2003 respectively. She made a return to music after a long break with Still On My Mind in 2019, which marked her first album in six years.

She joins previously announced acts Rick Astley, Lionel Richie, George Benson and Bastille – who will be joined by a live orchestra.

The Hampton Court Palace Festival its taking place for the 28th year in 2020, having welcomed the likes of Nile Rodgers, Tears for Fears and Busted to perform last summer.
