Fortnite's latest skin is based on Jason Momoa's Aquaman, the incredibly muscular, underwater superhero from DC Comics.

As part of the Week Five challenges, you'll not only be able to unlock the new skin, but you'll also be able to claim his trusted Trident.

Last season the game featured a Deadpool skin, and in a similar way, in order to get your hands on the goods in Season 3, you'll first have to claim victory in this week's tasks.

So, without further ado, here's how to get your hands on the new skin, and Aquaman's powerful pick-axe.

Fortnite Season 3 is live now

How to unlock the Aquaman skin:

This challenge has been live for a little while now, but only today can you get your hands on the pick-axe using the Aquaman skin.

  • Despite the map flooding, the location of the Gorgeous Gorge has remained the same as always, however, flanking it now is a set of cliffs and the boat store.
  • You'll then need to jump in the water, then swim towards the waterfall's edge and make a leap for it.
  • By doing so, you should crack the challenge and unlock the Aquaman skin.

And, like, who doesn't want to look like Jason Mamoa??

Where to locate and claim Aquaman's Trident:

The powerful Trident is located at Coral Cove, on the northern side of the map, just next to Sweaty Sands.

There are three possible locations

Once in the correct zone, you must do the following:

  • There are three possible locations for the Trident within Coral Cove. They look like small rock formations on the map and you'll have to check all locations to find the trident.
  • Once you've spotted the Trident, you can pick it up by walking over to it.
  • Aquaman's pick-axe should then be in your inventory list once you've exited the match.

As well as Aquaman's Trident, there is a multitude of cosmetics to unlock this season. What's more, the skin of Aquaman villain, Black Manta, and his pick-axe are also expected to drop today (July 16) in the Fortnite shop — so watch this space.
